Antique picture buttons we once highly coveted in the 1800's, where they depict children, flowers, opera scenes, fables, animals and plays. They were mainly used as clothing decor but became collectible when their popularity waned as the 20th century brought a whole new era of button styles and popularity.

Here I've taken a small antique picture button depicting a boy playing flute. It’s so sweet!. The button itself is a delicate 5/8", in excellent weathered antique condition and necklace measures 17". Closes with a lobster clasp, length adjustments available per request.
